HOW TO SORT YOUR EMPTIES SUCCESSFULLY
  • ALL “ready-to-drink” containers are part of the refund system- except for milk\soy products
  • Lids OFF - labels ON - all refunds
  • Separate non-alcoholic from alcoholic containers (note: that .05 is counted as non-alcoholic)
  • Fill the bags accurately to the quantities indicated on the index below
  • Do not use the plastic bags that have been provided for beer cans &\or any glass containers
  • Beer cans are accepted in a regular garbage bag with a count of the units
  • Group the containers always remembering; up to a litre as one count with over a litre as another & soft drinks must be separated from alcoholic ones
  • Standard beer bottles (the brown ones) can be received in their original cases with any extras put into flats
  • Do not use twist ties to close the plastic bags- just double knot them securely
  • If you don’t have enough product to fill the bag to the desired amount-just mark it clearly with the partial number of units
  • If you are uncertain about a particular container or product, just set it aside for later verification…
  • Milk Containers: Capless, clean and crushed containers are bagged in the warehouse.
